Susan Hoehn's latest body of work depicts museum goers interacting with priceless masterpieces; bringing forth a juxtaposition between current culture and the everlasting impact of art historical icons. Also included are a few SF cityscapes and wine country landscapes.

Flowers and parrots from Catherine Klein

Catherine Klein was born in Berlin in 1861. There, she studied at the art school. Particular attention is paid image both field and garden flowers, occasionally adding a collection of drawings of birds and insects. The emergence of color printing coincided with the exhibition of her work, and it made her very popular. Her drawings were printed on postcards were used as book illustrations publishers Raphael Tuck & Sons, Theo. Stroeffer (TSN) and others.

 

Catherine Klein died in 1929.
