Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller (Ger. Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller, January 15, 1793, Vienna - August 23 1865 Hinterbrühl near Mödling) - one of the most famous Austrian artists of the first half of the XIX century. Known as its scenery, and works in portrait and genre painting. Best known as the painter of the Biedermeier, writing idyllic scenes in Vienna domartovskogo period. The artistic heritage of Waldmuller covers about 1,200 paintings.
