British artist Frank Moss Bennett (1874-1953)

Frank Moss Bennett was born: Liverpool (England) November 15, 1874. In 1892 he studied at home Browns, Clifton College in Bristol. In 1892 - 1894 years of continued his studies at the Slade School of Art in London with Henry Tonks (1862-1937), Philip Wilson Steer (1860-1942) and John Singer Sargent (1856-1925). In 1894 he studied at the School of Art, St. Johns Wood (London) and graduated in 1896 at the Royal Academy of Arts (London). Wrote mainly genre paintings in the style of "good old England", which enjoyed success. During the Anglo 'golden age'. who prefer to portray in his paintings Frank Bennett, ladies dressed in crinolines, with lots of ribbons, bows and other decorations. It was, in general, monotonous, although very krasivo.V 1898 - 1928 years, his work exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1899 - 1932 the men also exhibited at the Art Gallery in Liverpool.
